Frequently asked questions

What does "unlimited" calling include?

Calls to regular phone numbers in the USA and Canada for normal home use, up to 1,000 minutes a month. International calling is turned off by default.

Can I keep my home phone number?

Yes, in most cases. We port it from your current phone company; it usually takes 1–3 weeks. Keep your old service active until the move is finished.

Can I use my own phone?

Yes. Any regular corded or cordless home phone works with a phone adapter (ATA).

Does 911 work?

Yes, with limits. We register your address for 911, but internet phone service cannot reach 911 during a power or internet outage.

Is there a contract?

No. Pay monthly and cancel any time, or pay yearly to save.
