These terms apply to your use of the VoxFax website and our online fax and internet phone (VoIP) services (the "Service"). By signing up or using the Service you agree to them.
Depending on your plan, VoxFax provides a fax number that lets you send and receive faxes by email, and/or a phone number with calling, voicemail and 911 service over your internet connection. Calls and faxes travel over networks run by third-party carriers. We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we can't guarantee that every call or fax will connect or be delivered on time. Voice service needs a working broadband connection and power, and call quality depends on your internet connection.
You must give us accurate contact information and keep your email account secure, because anyone with access to it can send and receive faxes as you. You're responsible for all faxes sent from your account.
Your number is assigned to you while your subscription is active. If your subscription ends, the number may be released and reassigned after 30 days. If you want to move your number to another provider, contact us before you cancel and we'll help with the port. When you port a number to us, you confirm you're authorized to move it, and your old provider's contract and fees remain your responsibility.
"Unlimited" calling on Voice plans covers calls to regular phone numbers in the USA and Canada for normal personal and small-office use, up to 2,500 minutes per month per line. It does not cover auto-dialing, telemarketing, call centers, reselling, continuous connections (such as monitoring or intercom use), or calls to premium, conference or chat-line numbers. International calling is disabled by default. If your use goes well beyond normal use, we'll contact you first and may move you to a suitable plan, limit calling, or suspend service.
For fax, "unlimited" means no page limits for normal business faxing. You may not use the Service to send unsolicited advertising faxes ("junk faxes"), for automated bulk broadcasting, or for anything illegal, fraudulent, or harassing. You're responsible for following telephone and fax laws, including the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and for keeping your phone app / SIP password private — you're responsible for calls made with it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
You own your documents. We handle them only to deliver your faxes and provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't use the Service for information that the law requires special systems to protect unless you have confirmed it meets those requirements.
The Service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from a fax that is delayed or not delivered. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. If a change is significant we'll email you. You can stop using the Service any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
